  • Flash XML/PHP News Feed Editor

Here is a simple news feed type reader with a flash shell that uses PHP to write/edit an XML file and saves the changes.

(Either JavaScript is not active or you are using an old version of Adobe Flash Player. Please install the newest Flash Player.)

You can select “Add new feed” from the drop down to create a new feed, or you can select a feed and click the delete button to delete the selected feed.

I can post the source if need be – just leave me a comment.

    1. I have a hobby site where I have a community newsfeed that’s fed across several similar hobby sites (its the popup on the home page). The problem is that editing the xml file code manually is fiddly so responsibility always lies with me to make edits, which I havent had chance to do for many months.
I’d like to make it easier so other users could edit it and add their won news. Would it be possible for me to get a copy of your software to test, and ultimately use, then everybody could contribute to the workload.

Please let me know if this is possible.

      Kindest regards

Thanks for your interest in the XML editor I created. Do you know how to program in Flash? That is what I built the program in. I would be happy to hand it over to you to check out, I will want to go through it though and make sure things are commented well for you. How soon do you need to see it? I would also be willing to work with you on it if Flash is not your forte’ – just let me know.
